Roger the 2 year old Saddleback arrived at his new home on Sunday, the 1st of March. He went from a small enclosure with no grass or shelter to a wonderful new home with lots of grass, a house built just for him, plenty of things to amuse him and people who love him.

Freckles’ enjoying his very first meal at Cranky’s.  I made a point of sitting in the holding pen with Bill and Freckles, talking softly to them and assuring them that their new life was going to be full and free and full of love.

On the 25th of November Bill the jersey steer and Freckles the speckled park steer arrived at Cranky’s. Bill was the first to jump off the truck to freedom and, whilst Freckles’ dismount wouldn’t have won him any medals at the Olympics, he also jumped enthusiastically into his new life.
