Penny

Penny’s life began in the shadows of Australia’s feedlot industry — born into a world where animals are seen as commodities, not individuals. She was just a newborn when she was rescued from a transport truck alongside a small group of other vulnerable calves, their tiny bodies marked by painful burn wounds and trauma.

Only Penny and one other calf, Peach, survived.

For some time, Penny and Peach have been living on a small block in rural Queensland. There, they slowly began to heal and grow, but the arrangement was always temporary. With no permanent home and no future plans in place, they were at risk of being advertised for sale or giveaway — a devastatingly common path that often leads young animals straight into the slaughter pipeline.

Thankfully, just in time, we were contacted — and we said yes.

But we need your help to give Penny the life she deserves.

🧡 Penny needs sponsors — compassionate people willing to support her journey and help us provide the food, medical care, and sanctuary she will need for the rest of her life.

Sponsoring Penny means being part of her story — a story that could have ended in tragedy, but instead is just beginning with hope.
