Whoopee arrived at Cranky’s Farm in November 2023 after we discovered her advertised for sale on Gumtree. She had originally been purchased by a breeder from Victoria, but by the time she arrived in Queensland she was not in good condition. Due to a defect with one of her teats, the breeder considered her unsuitable for their breeding program.
Thankfully, when we reached out, they agreed to surrender Whoopee to us, giving her the opportunity to leave a life of exploitation behind and instead enjoy the safety, care and respect of sanctuary life.
Whoopee is a registered purebred Australian Miniature Goat and now shares her home with her best friend, Spring. While their personalities couldn’t be more different—Whoopee is reserved but curious and always ready for a tasty snack, while Spring is mischievous and considerably fussier—the two are inseparable and perfectly complement one another.
