**UPDATE: Despite our best attempts to rescue Scooby we were unable to do so. With a team of volunteers, a veterinary surgeon experienced in the tranquilising large animals by dart gun, permission of the new land owners and a lot of hope we set out to get Scooy to safety. Unfortunately, Scooby just didn’t realise we were trying to help him and would not be sedated. Although we were so sadden by our failure to save this unique individual, we know we learned a lot from our experience and believe, if a similar situation arises in the future we will be successful thanks to Scooby and what he taught us.

My name is Scooby and, at September 2024, I am around 2 years old.
I have been told I am VERY SPECIAL but I just think I’m normal.
What’s special about me? I was born with only 3 LEGS!!!
Over the past 2 years I have learnt to cope with my disability, I can lay down, stand up and walk around. Actually, to me, I seem perfectly normal.
How did I come to be rescued by Cranky’s?
I lived on a farm with a herd of cattle. One day a truck came and picked up all my friends and family and took them away. I have been told it’s because the person who owned the farm got sick and had to sell it and also had to sell my herd. When the herd was sold the buyer didn’t want a 3 legged bull so I got left behind (lucky I am thinking). Unfortunately, though, my situation went from lucky to dire when the ultimatum was given “find a new home or be shot”.
Thankfully, a very kind hearted human heard about my plight and contacted Cranky’s FARM who agreed to give me sanctuary.
