My name is David.
I came to live at Cranky’s FARM at the beginning of 2018. Before I arrived I had been living with a family who bought me to eat their weeds. Unfortunately, I preferred to eat everything else. They said I wasn’t fulfilling my purpose and asked if the people at Cranky’s would take me.
I am small but I don’t know it. I feel as big as any of the cows in my family and sometimes my lack of fear gets me into trouble.
The people at Cranky’s say I’m not allowed in the shed yard. I really like it in there though, so I’ve been practicing my jumping and now I can sail over the shed yard fence much to the frustration of the people looking after us. They have gone to great lengths to try to keep me out but, as yet, I am winning that battle. 😉
I get a little pushy with visitors sometimes, especially the tiny kind (I think they’re called children). I like to head butt them but they fall over and I get the feeling that’s not good.
Mrs Black and I don’t really get on that well, I think that’s because I’m always chasing her. It’s not that I don’t like her but all the other goats tend to pick on me a bit (I think because I’m small) and so I try to make sure she knows that she can’t pick on me too.
I feel so at home and relaxed at Cranky’s I fall asleep in very odd places. When I lie out in the sun I fall asleep so deeply the people at Cranky’s say I’m lucky I don’t live in the wild or I’d be a goner (whatever that means).
I like most foods but not really anything squishy like banana and pear.
