My name is Bill, I am a 10 month old Jersey steer.
I was born on a dairy farm and taken from my mum at just a few days old.
I was given to a lady who raised me with the help of a foster cow.
Unfortunately, the drought hit and I was moved to another farm where I lived with two other jersey steers.
Sadly, the people I live with now have decided to sell me and have advertised me for sale as a “JERSEY STEER – FILL YOUR FREEZER FOR XMAS”!
Thankfully, the people at Cranky’s FARM saw the advertisement and wanted to rescue me.
I arrived at Cranky’s FARM with my friend, Freckles on the 25th of October 2019.
We spend our first night at Cranky’s in their holding pen where we could safely get to know our new family.
The next day we were let out to run around, explore and make friends, which we did straight away.
They say I will eat around $180 worth of food a month.
