My name is Marley and I was born at a slaughterhouse on 3/10/2023.
As per usual practice I was about to be “dispatched” by slaughterhouse workers when another man working at the facility (not in the kill facility) stepped in. He saved me from being killed at the day I was born.
He took me home to his family and I lived in their suburban back yard. They feed me milk from a bottle and kept me safe. They quickly realised that I needed more care than they were able to provide and that, eventually, I would need a safe forever home, so they contacted Crank’s FARM.
If you would like to help Cranky’s FARM take care of me you can sponsor me for as little as $5/mth by clicking the Sponsor Me button below.
Update on Marley (and Fern)
We’re happy to share that Marley, one of our beloved rescue cattle, has been relocated to a foster home alongside his dear friend, Fern, who is blind. This thoughtful transition allows us to continue our mission by creating space for more animals in need, while also ensuring the safety and well-being of our disabled rescue cattle, Peggy and Bennett.
Marley and Fern remain under the protection and care of Cranky’s FARM and continue to be fully supported financially by us. Their welfare and ongoing needs are continuously monitored to ensure they receive the best possible care in their new home. We’re so grateful to our community for making this next chapter possible for them.
